Greetings to one and all,

God is Good. We returned to the U.S. to raise our support in order to continue the work in Guatemala. We are thankful to those who have prayed and responded to that need. We are also thankful for the new digital projector that was given. Please continue to pray that we’ll see the support continue to increase we are only $150.00 per month short of meeting our goal.

Our return to Guatemala has been delayed. We had planned to return at the conclusion of the meetings we have scheduled which end May 8th. In March, I began getting sharp pains in my knee predominately at night. Tests showed I have a torn cartilage in my right knee and arthroscopic surgery is needed. Instead of canceling meetings, we have decided to wait and have the surgery on May 11th. The doctor says the recovery is generally 6-8 weeks. Please pray that the healing will be quick as we will then return to Guatemala.

We continue to pray for a reliable, late model minivan to take to Guatemala or the funds to purchase one there (about $12,000 there). That would allow us to minister further out in the country and to neighboring countries where we have already been invited. There is also a 15 passenger van in Guatemala that may be available to use for short trips and bussing people but needs about $1200 to repair the transmission.
The work in Guatemala continues. Our young adults are planning an evangelistic outreach through various projects over the next few weeks. Pray for a teen conference April 30.

We have also been blessed by seeing God use our youngest son, Andy, and other men to preach the gospel on a recent Missions trip to Zambia, Africa.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalm 100:5)

Please pray that God would use us while here in the States.
Please continue to pray that the Lord would allow us to continue using the property where we’re at in Guatemala City for His Honor and Glory.
Please pray for a vehicle that we may continue in outreach outside the city area.
Please pray for the increase in our support and that God would touch the hearts of some churches to begin supporting us and that some that had stopped might begin again.
